Destructive fire a revitalizer

When there is nothing with me,
What do I still have with me?
A promise for a greater future.

A forest fire razes the ground to black nothing,
In nothingness are powdery ashes full of minerals,
Minerals help new trees grow, and the regrowth is much denser.

This is how far I have come; I can go no more,
Tired of wanting and waiting, I give in to the inferno,
Burn this and some more, ashes to ashes, I rise again.
