A Question

Armed with three strong military forces,
An eye force to see and observe,
An ear force to hear and listen,
A mouth force to talk and discuss,
And bolstered by the best control centre ever – the mind,
It’s ironical that some questions still do take us hostage...

A pesky question is what one gets left with,
Every time there is no comforting answer,
An answer is what one adds to his awareness,
Every time he finds a new meaning, an inner significance,
Go hammer and tongs – with all the combined might of all the forces,
Yet, some questions just don’t just give themselves away to true answers,
A true answer is what it is, and not what one thinks it to be.

Yet to every question, there is an answer out there,
But, no answer can ever be got for a question,
If one never raised above the state of awareness
That existed when the question took birth,
A showdown of all the combined forces of the body and mind,
Merely a colossal waste, if there were to be no elevation of consciousness.

Doing the same thing over and over again,
Never yielded any different result other than a burnout,
Tired out looking specifically for an answer, take heart,
The trick to find an honest answer is,
To pretend that one is not looking for it,
Looking for it by not looking for it opens a new front,
And one is sure to stumble on something that holds the key,
Which is certain to be missed when looking only for the obvious.
