Two roads forked from the same intersection at that moment,
Two destinies lay in wait at the ends of traversing those paths,
Two sentinels, possibly brothers, stood guard at each entrance,
Both, equally tight lipped, yielded nothing more than a monosyllable to questions...
What lay ahead? Which way to go? Why make a choice, leave alone right choice?
Thinking at rest tends to stay at rest; thoughts in motion tend to traverse roads,
Not sure which side was the right road, the plan was to move very fast anyway,
For there already was a decision made; and to meet it sooner was all the better.
Poof! The vision corrected, the sentinels disappeared, and the roads merged,
Whether you choose the decision or the decision chooses you – it‘s just a frame of reference...
