And when the day comes to a corporeal close,
There is entertainment to begin at the night,
The rules of the physics of this world cease,
And paves way for an ethereal state that can shape any way.
Last night, it was the vision of me being Shakespeare incarnate,
Some other night – a rogue spy out to steal nuclear secrets,
Dream after dream, every night is rich in fantasies and hallucinations,
And on breaking of dawn, the surreal turns on its pivot to become the corporal.
Do manifested events in the day script fantasies screening at the night shows,
Or is it that the dream shows of night hold divination clues for what might happen next day?
I do not know the answer – one way or the other; and I may make no attempt to find out,
Because that would be like attaching meaning to dreams – a not so pleasant proposition,
As it is only likely to spoil the pleasantry and the entertainment that goes along with my dreaming...
